What a cute guest book idea! 

Each guest wrote their names on a circle styrofoam and attached with a double stick piece of tape.

Hold Down Placecards

If you're place cards are being setup outside, take into consideration that Mother Nature may come into play, (always assume the worst and have a backup option ready with all wedding plans). In the situation of place cards,  have small rocks, like shown above, to hold them down or something small enough to not block the font on the card.

Candy Bar Website

I was looking up candy companies online and found this one,

They organize their candy by color, if you're having a candy bar at your wedding this could be a great website for you!!

Napkin Fold

A simple triangle napkin fold is very outdated, a pocket fold or a menu card fold is the most commonly used. Here's a new idea...

If you're renting napkins that have a pop of color (like above) why not have it laid out on the table to enhance your theme? I'd make sure they were pressed before hand... nothing looks worse than a wrinkled linen on a table. 

If you're sticking with house linens (where everything is a different shape of ivory or white from the venue) I wouldn't do this. It would get lost and wouldn't look as good, in my opinion.

Circle Menu Card

If you are using a charger, or ask the venue to place dinner plates on the table before you're guests take their seats... think about this menu card. It fits perfectly into the center of the plate, plus it really stands out with the bold color.

What's a charger you may ask? A charger is a plate that is rented just for show. Its placed on the table before you're guests take their seats to show a completed setting. The plate is never actually used for food, because it's removed before the first course is served.

Noise Violation?

If your ceremony is taking place outside, near a residential area, be sure to ask the venue if there are any noise restrictions. Certain towns may not allow music outside at all, while others may have a certain volume you may not go over. That way you don't contract with a musician or DJ and come to find out it's not allowed. 

Beautiful Centerpiece Idea

We're back into full Wedding Season Mode!

Yesterday I saw these beautiful centerpieces at work. The couple rented the tree's from their florist, and then added orchid's around all of the branches. Add LED lights to the ends and you have a gorgeous centerpiece that will stand out during the daylight and well into midnight.

Not every tradition has to be kept on your wedding day. Here are some new ways to change things up, I found this on theknot.com...

Your Bridesmaids Need To Wear The Same Color and Cut

Let your girls' individual personalities shine by having each one pick a dress that suits her own taste and shape (but perhaps all in the same fabric or color). Or let them personalize their look with accessories like funky jewelry, boleros or patterned tights.

Flower girl book

When I got married my little flower girl had a lot of questions about what being a flower girl meant, and what she would have to do.

So, I went to Barnes & Noble and bought a flower girl book. They have a few different options and it really seemed to help her understand the importance of her title.

It's a really cute gift to give her, and is something the two of you can share together.

Did you know that there is such a thing as... wedding insurance? Go ahead and search for it. In the event that there is a major weather storm, an issue with vendors not showing, or an unforeseen incident on your big day, then this might be worth it! Its actually a lot less than expensive than I thought too.
